I.O.O.F.
I.O.O.F. is the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal order. Their aim is to provide help to people and communities in times of need. Kraft House No. 5 at the "Four Corners" in the heart of Powell still displays the I.O.O.F. lettering on the top of the building constructed in about 1890. This engraved stone is located by the flagpole at the Powell Liberty Historical Society on Powell Rd. at Grace Dr. Both were placed by the remaining members of Lodge #465 to recognize the long existence of this organization in Powell.

The Former I.O.O.F. Building as it Appears Today, 2023
The IOOF building stands on the SW corner of Olentangy and Liberty Sts. and is currently the home the Kraft House No. 5. restaurant. For many years it was the home of the Powell Market.
The rock in front of the Martin-Perry House Flagpole
The rock marks the donation of the original flagpole to the PLHS. The original pole was replaced in 2020 and the new pole is in a slightly different location.
